We’ve seen a whole host of phones under the ZF3 lineup last year, but conspiciously missing was ASUS’ answer to the low-end market – that extremely important budget market is where many brands make their fortune in, and it seems odd that the Taiwanese company hasn’t released a phone for that particular market. Well, it seems that a new Zenfone 3 is coming, in the guise of the Zenfone 3 Go.
The Zenfone 3 Go is aimed at the budget segment of the market, replacing the previous Go that the company released. Just like its more expensive brothers, the ZF3 Go shares the same aesthetics as its more expensive sibling sporting what looks like a brushed metal finish and gentle rounded corners. The phone being a budget device, does not have a fingerprint scanner. It does have a 5″HD (1280×720 pixel) display and powered by a Snapdragon 410 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
The camera looks to be a 13Mp shooter with a 1.4 um pixel size which is complimented by a 5Mp front camera.
The budget phone is expected to be announced during MWC in the next coming weeks.
